Well, clearly I've been neglecting this page SO, as a result, I'm going to be doing a complete overhaul of our family website!  Not only in design but in purpose.  I'm anticipating it'll come fast (I hope, assuming life doesn't get in my way.)  So stay tuned!

Anyone who knows us, specifically me (Jess in case you were wondering), the singular thing that we've been anticipating is snow.  Yep, I'm one of those nutty people who actually LIKES winter.  Snow I beautiful in my opinion and well worth the hassle of being cold and shivering.  It's a time of renewal and rebirth, where sleeping in all day seems great and if you have a fire place, even better.....we, sadly, don't have the fire place, but we're gifted with a great imagination.  Add hot cocoa and yep, it's a great time of year.

As such, I always eagerly anticipate the first snow fall which is then followed by the anticipation for the first snow that actually sticks around.  Last night, the first snow came and it was beautiful.  So much, that I took a great picture of it.  Enjoy! - Jess

It is our pleasure to announce that we have successfully moved!  That's right, no longer are we in Texas, instead the Air Force in it's infinite wisdom decided to send us to Ohio.  Fortunately, we agreed with that wisdom and we're very pleased to be at Wright Patterson in Dayton, Ohio.  The area is nice, has a homey feel to it.  The house is small which is taking some adjustment...ok, more than some, but that's okay because we needed to prune down anyway.  The best part?  Right to the corner of our house is a park area for the kids.  I get daily requests to go despite rain, snow, sleet, wind...other adverse weather conditions that either make it too cold or too wet.  Summer will be interesting at least.  :)  Raven loves her school, which is great.  Isaiah is waiting to start school and Allene has arrived.  Yay!
