The history of Wicca Today started around April 2009 with an intervention. It had been simple really, no earth shaking moments or significant weather patterns, not even a slight change in the wind. Just an urge to go out in the moonlight with a certain amount of tools, stand in meditation and then received a message. The message itself, the words spoken are personal, but the effect was to start walking in a particular direction that leads me to the start of Wicca Today.

However much it would be nice to say that the motivation was purely spiritual, it isn't. The Lord and Lady can't take full credit and in truth, They probably don't wish to. Another motivator in the creation of Wicca Today came out of attending college. I am not ashamed to say that what got Wicca Today from being a simple idea bandied about in the mind to a reality is a classroom and an assignment, to create a site about something that means a lot to us.

After years of wandering around lost in the world, it was the Lord and Lady that found me and put me on my Spiritual Journey and all I can say is that I'm very grateful that they are so accommodating and forgiving of the type of person I am. After all I am pretty stubborn, but they managed to get through my thick skull. The eventual result is still to be seen, but I feel that Wicca Today is a step in that direction.

My goals with this site is to provide a resource to other people who are like me, wandering around and trying to find the right step to take on the path that is placed in front of all of us. I hope that our site is a valuable resource not just for Wiccan's new and old, but for anyone with questions, a burning curiosity or follow a different Pagan path. While our site is mostly about Wiccan philosophies, we are more than happy to have articles, items and inspirations that cater to the other Pagan philosophies in the world.
